Meet Tucker and Tori

After lots of asking, Dylan finally got his turtles. I think he has been fascinated since age 1 and asking since age 2. At first, we told Ellison and Dylan that they would need to earn the turtles.  However, in typical Ellison fashion, she decided that she really did not want turtles and would rather earn money for a dog.  Well since I absolutely am not buying another dog (possibly ever), I had to change the game plan... fast!

Approaching Birthday plus very helpful Ms. Rosie, equals two Stink Pots and a surprise.  It's amazing the surprise was pulled off and Dylan had not idea.  Ellison tried her hardest to help him figure it out.  She drew turtles, pictures of Dylan holding turtles, would refer to "tortoise" and his birthday.  And even after all of the clues, the only thing that really got Dylan's attention was the turtle food on the counter... thanks Dad!

In the end, Dylan was surprised. Welcome to the family, Tucker and Tori. Now the question is, who loves them more - Dad or Dylan?  That question is to be determined.

BOO-tiful Fun

The Clarks like to really enjoy the holidays!  To celebrate Halloween, we have decorated, dressed up, picked pumpkins (and then watched those pumpkins rot), decorated our house (multiple times), enjoy a Halloween play, and well, eaten way to much candy for Halloween to still be a few days away.

A few of our highlights from the past few weeks...
Dylan was on the edge of his seat during the "Click, Clack, Boo" Show at Orlando Rep.  The play was super cute and it was nice to have both children loving it!

See that big pumpkin... the one that cost a lot of money.
Yeah, Graham was right... it rotted within a week.
But, it was awfully pretty in front of my door... for a week.
Did I mention that it rotted?

My only child that would partially cooperate with me and take pictures.

"Take and picture, take a picture"

"Mom, take a picture"
He is a funny kid!

Dylan's First Field Trip

Dylan had his first field trip last week.  (tears)  It was fun to see Dylan explore the pumpkin patch with his buddies.  Of course, the boys were standing, rolling, and jumping on the pumpkins.  And when they found the wheelbarrows, Dylan and Griffin knew just what to do... loading them up and quickly dumping them over.

Easton Fun

 Dear Auntie Chan,

I think Easton wants to come play at my house more.  It has nothing to do with the cupcakes.
He just loves me so much.  And well, he is the cutest, sweetest little guy.  We all had so much fun with him!

Love, Auntie Jenn

6 Going On ?

Moved up levels in gymnastics!
Her coach said that Ellison had been really challenging herself this year to improve.
Ellison has really taken off over the last few months.  She is challenging herself in gymnastics, working hard at reading, and taking on more responsibility at home.  She is even motivated to get to school early - which has never, ever been the case.  To top it off, Ellison has lost her two front teeth.  This means that she not only is acting older, but looks older.  So proud of her!
Bye, bye two front teeth!

Helping her brother learn to count.

Johnny Appleseed Day - Ellison loves her teacher, Mrs. Dye.

Always the fashionista, its still hard to talk Ellison into wearing her Daisy uniform.  She wore it for the meeting, then changed before walking down to a party to support Dommerich.

She always surprises me with how patient and loving she can be with Dylan. They were experimenting outside, while I watched (and worked) from inside.

He gets it from his SISTER

Dylan is reminding me more and more of his sister when she was 3 going on 4 - crazy fun with their own sense of style!

Well except for the mud... Ellison would not have swam in the mud pond...

Ellison and Mora

Ellison has officially met her match with her friend, Mora.  The wonderful thing about these two friends is that they build eachother up, support eachother, and acknowledge their differences and see them strengths.  They are rather cute to watch together.

We had a mother and daughter date to The Borrowers followed by coffee and shopping.  I mean what more could any of us have asked for?
