Rubber Duckie, you're the one...

The Ducks preparing for the race.
Ellison cheering on her duck.

Ellison's duck is the one to the front left.
(painted by Mommy)

The heated race...
the master of ceremonies' daughter won the race.
Hmmmm... interesting.
Today, Graham, Ellison and I
headed to the Annual Duck Race in Winter Park.
We had a great afternoon racing E's duck,
watching Mr. Richard and seeing some of our friends.

Can you spy the edamame?

Our last stop in Gainesville was Dragonfly for some sushi to celebrate Daddy's birthday. Ellison did not care for edamame...

Butterflies

Aunt Ashley bought Daddy tickets to the UF Basketball game. While Daddy, Aunt Ashley and Uncle Tim were at the game, Ellison and I explored the Butterfly Garden at the History museum. As soon as we walked through the doors, a butterfly landed on my should right next to Ellison. She spent the afternoon watching all of the butterflies and baby birds. She loved every minute of it. She is so inquisitive and would spot a butterfly and then watch it fly away.

The Swamp... never to early.

Saturday, we took a road trip to Gainesville.
Our first stop... The Swamp. Dancing on the tables... ut oh.
Having fun with Aunt Ashley.

Talking to Daddy (very expressive).

Amy joined us for lunch.
We miss our Ackley cousins.

I wonder what Ellison was thinking about
with regards to Uncle Tim.

Ellison and Bennett

Today, Ellison and I headed over to play with Ashley and Bennett. Next time, I will make sure to bring my video camera to capture these silly babies. Bennett is so adorable. Ellison loved to snatch his toys from him. Thanks for having us over!

Breaking News

For some of you, "breaking news" will seem dramatic. However to my mom, we have major breaking news. Ellison has learned a new word.. N-Ma aka Grandma.

Almost everyday I drop Ellison off with Grandma and I head to class or work. Over the past few weeks, she has begun to become extremely excited as we approach the front door and will then automatically wave bye-bye to me once she is being held by my mom.

Yesterday, we arrived early at Grandma's house and awaited her return from the grocery store. Literally, my mom walked through the door, Ellison heard her voice, and screamed N-Ma. She then began to crawl her way over to my mom, repeating N-Ma, N-Ma, N-Ma.

Also, as reported in a previous post, Ellison knows the word App aka Apple. Today, we went to Toys R Us to buy a toy truck for her future boyfriend, Jack Whiteman (who just welcomed a sister). While in the store, we passed by some big balls. All of the sudden she pointed and said "App." I picked one (or three) up to buy (she is a rolling ball kinda gal), and she started screaming, "App, App, App, App." So I think she is denoting "App" with apples and balls.

Just Playing

Always has my phone... oops.
So serious.

Playing peek-a-boo...
good thing Daddy installed her drapes with industrial strength screws.

Playing nice with Bella.

Bella jumped off soon after...

Back to Peek-a-Boo

She has found a new place to hide.

"Mom-ma, why are you looking at me? I am just playing."

So sweet.
