12-0!

The Clark Family
Deep in thought... hmmm what to do next?

Austin and Cathy

Typical girl.

The next "Tim Tebow"? Jack does have an uncanny resemblance to Wuerrful.

The beautiful Whiteman Family.
Although Jason has become lame, Cathy and kids are still awesome!

Already giving Ellison jewelry.
These two are destined for each other.
Jewelry always makes a girl happy!

Aunt Ashley also makes E a happy girl.

The Simons... will they be next?

My lovely friend and tailgate buddy, Austin.

The cuties!

E gives me this "look" all of the time.

Aunt Kim and Uncle Art.

The adorable Anna.
Today was the last tailgate of the regular season. The end result, 12-0 regular season, final game blowout of the Florida State Seminoles. Could not have asked for a better ending. Ok, well I could ask for a win in the SEC Chapmionship game next weekend, and then a win in the Naitonal Championship game in January. But, one thing at a time! GO GATORS!

Thankful

Graham and I realize more and more everyday how blessed we truly are to have amazing family and friends, a roof over our heads, and lead what we consider a pretty "fun" existence.
On Thanksgiving, we have the chance to say "Thank You" and reflect on our many blessings. We are truly thankful to our parents, who support us in all that we do and love us for who we are. We are thankful for eachother because who else would put up with us long enough to get and stay married to us (we are both pretty complicated in our own way). We are thankful for Ellison's Aunts and Uncles, who are always there for us and love Ellison in such an amazing way. We are thankful for all of our friends who are there during the fun times and are also there for us during the bad times. We are thankful for Ellison who came into our lives at the most amazing time and continues to amaze us everyday.
We are also reminded of those that we have lost and miss dearly. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to know and love them. And understand that while they may not be here in a physical form, we are blessed to be reminded of them in our everyday lives. And blessed to be surrounded by those that also loved them with us on this day.
Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving.

Mommy Lesson #1,004

What was I thinking packing Ellison
an almond butter with jelly sandwich in lieu of her
normal hummus sandwich?
I mean my child asks for Hummus for breakfast!

Let's just chalk that up to a "Mommy Lesson".
One of many already learned and more to soon follow!

It's a Girl Thing!

I consider myself a girly girl. So imagine how excited I am that Ellison appears to love all things girly. I have written about my love to dress her in pink. However, I promise you, I have not pushed dolls on her over other toys. I have not forced her to dress up with necklaces, bracelets, and bows. Ok, well I do put those things on her, but to my defense she doesn't take them off! As Ellison has gotten older, she has become more and more of a "mommy". She loves her dolls. Not only does she love her dolls, but she likes to bath them, dress them, feed them, and rock them to sleep. And I am in love! I played with dolls way past it being cool. Of course, I could get away with it because I had younger sisters. Luckily, I can once again play with dolls!

All of the above pictures are from today. And yes, I also realize that her blue t-shirt makes her look like a boy, but again to my defense, it is an "I love Tim Tebow" shirt. There is nothing more girly that that!

Thank you Ginny!

Ellison recieved a beautiful handmade pillow with a pink bear and her name on it from her friend and neighbor, Virginia. Ellison loves her new pillow. Thank you!

Little Girl at a Big Girl's Party

Getting ready to slide down.
With her buddy, Bennett Johnston

Holding her own, enjoying pizza and juice.

Singing Happy Birthday to Princess Eloise

Ice Cream and Cake... Yummy!
(she wanted absolutely no help)
Arrived home a bit sleepy. Before reading a bedtime book,
Ellison must watch her girls, "Minnie and Daisy", with her girls!

Eloise Johnston celebrated her 3rd Birthday at Monkey Joe's on Friday. Ellison was the youngest guest, but she held her own with the rest of the 3 year olds. The funniest part of the evening was that she wanted Eloise's mom, Ashley, to hang out with her. Before she would slide down a slide, she would yell, "Ashhlee, Ashhlee, Ashhlee."

I Love You More

The downfall of going to Law School is not being able to spend dinner and bed time with my family. Everyone knows that this is my biggest complaint. With classes coming to an end for this semester, I am most excited about putting my sweet little girl to bed. Tonight, I got a chance to before heading to my final Civ Pro class of the Fall semester. It was so lovely.

Lunch with Princesses

I bought Ellison a new placemat the other day that has a pumpkin carriage on it with 3 beautiful princesses inside. It also has a castle and a bunch of frogs.

At lunch today, Ellison started to count the princesses, "One, two, freee!" Well that was pretty exciting, then she decided to name them. The one on the left is "Kimbureee" and the one on the right is "Ashhh" and who is in the middle? Not her mom! Instead it is in Ellison's words, "Meeee," as she pointed to herself. When I asked if I could be a princess, she said, "no."

After a bit more lunch, she decided to give me a spot on the placemat afterall. Not a princess, but instead she pointed to the castle and said, "Home, ma ma, da da."

I want to be a princess :) It is awfully sweet that she thinks about Aunt Kimberly and Aunt Ashley so much. She calls them throughout the day on her cell phone and talks about them non stop. She loves her Aunts!

A girl and her dolls

My cutie!
The girl had a plan.

Diva

Watching the airplanes.

Taking the girls for a car ride.
Originally, Ellison and I had plans that involved leaving the house. However, midstream and a major fit later, I decided home sounded like a better plan. We filled our day with some outside fun. A few fun stories:
  • CRASH!: A new game where Ellison will run about 10 feet, throw her arms in the air, fall down in the yard, and I will yell CRASH. She will giggle, giggle, and giggle. And then get up and run another 10 feet, well you get the picture :)
  • Shadow: Ellison loves to chase her own shadow. But how about the dolls' shadows. Today, we spent quite a bit of time sitting the dolls down on the pavement and watching their shadows.
  • Catch: Ellison loves to play catch... this actually consists more of throwing the ball on her part than catching the ball. Hey, what can I say? We are still learning!
