Happy New Year!

We celebrated the New Year with dinner at Bella's and then headed to Beech Tree Bar to ring in the new year. Of course, Ellie stayed back with Grandma and Grandpa and rang in the new year while fast asleep. Only to wake up the second we arrived back at the round house. Needless to say, we all slept in the next morning. Thank goodness, we have a baby that will sleep in when she goes to sleep late.

We made it!

After 4 stops within the first two hours, we finally made it to North Carolina. The typical 10 hour drive, turned into a 12 hour drive thanks to a baby and two dogs. However, overall it was a nice drive up to the Mountains. We are so happy to be here... finally.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas! It all started on Christmas Eve at my parents' home. The evening was filled with family, friends and great food (thanks, Mom). On Christmas day, we hosted brunch at our house. In the past, Graham and I would start the day with breakfast and presents at my parents house, drive to St. Pete for a brunch with Hobart and then off to dinner with Nancy. It was always a fun day, but completely exhausting and we always felt in a rush to finish up at our current location to move on to the next. This year, we called the shots because we hold the golden ticket... Ellison! (Note to friends without kids: Get a kid... it is key to making the holidays easier)

Doctor Visit

Today, Little 'E' went to the Doctor. She has had a little cold and we wanted to make sure it was not anything more before we headed to the mountains. Luckily, just a cold. Doctor's orders... give her anything that she wants. I know the 'cold' is not exciting and blog worthy, but her current weight is... 18 lbs. 10 oz.

Born a Gator

Ellie loves Kareem

Or is it... Kareem loves Ellie? I think the feelings are mutual!
