Something I forgot to mention...

This is very important and super cute. At 8 months, Ellison gives big wet kisses. She started giving a few kisses every now and then about 2 months ago, however, now at 8 months, she gives lots and lots of kisses. A good example is this evening while playing with her on the ground, she kept standing up, facing me, and then swooping in to give me a nice wet kiss on the cheek. She is such a sweet baby.

8 months!

Ellison is now 8 months...

• Still has only two bottom teeth
• Can pull herself up at a very fast speed
• Will walk around her crib while holding onto the rail with one hand
• Attempts to stand without hands, but only lasts for approximately 1.5 seconds
• Super Crawler - has discovered that crawling is much faster than standing and then falling backwards, which was her previous method to get to the other side of her bedroom. It was rather funny, she would pull up onto something and then push off, landing in the seated position about a foot and half away from where she started.
• Can say the following sounds: da-da-da, ba-ba, rolls r, ca, ma ma, ti ti (for Tim Tebow, her super hero)
• Points at everything (this is a new one).
• When we say Bella, Ellison will look down on the floor for Bella and point to her.
• Feeds herself Gerber finger foods and is very interested in what Graham and I are eating.
• Oh yes, this is a big one... Aunt Ashley has taught her to use objects to stand on and crawl up onto things. Thanks, Aunt Ashley, we appreciate that one.

Video Monster by night, Computer Junkie by day!

Ellison is destined to recieve a computer for her 1st Birthday! This could be all my fault. For the first 3 months of her life, I brought her to my office to work. I would play with her while working (or while attempting to work). Her love for computers began at a young age. Now, she sees a computer and dives for it. My sister just sent me this video clip. She is crawling towards the computer. I have created a computer junkie. Video monster by night, computer junkie by day.

Daddy's snow angel... he is going to be in so much trouble... so smitten!

Since we live in Florida and spend most of the Winter with 80 degree weather, an opportunity to dress in winter clothes while in NC is very exciting. Well it is probably not overly exciting for Ellison as I dress her in hats, gloves, boots, and then top it off with a snow suit when we head outside. However, it is very exciting for her mother!
