Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

We celebrated Grandpa's Birthday on Sunday night (Round Two of the celebration) and were joined by Uncle Wayne, Aunt Joann and our cousin, Laura. Uncle Wayne arranged for a space shuttle launch (he also arranges for Santa Claus each year). It was a great evening!

Wow, this has been an interesting week. Ellison has officially started the temper tantrum phase. It goes something like this...
Ellison is playing with a medicine bottle (cap tightly on, of course). Mommy takes it away. Ellison screams, shouts, flails, yells "MAAAAA MAAAAAA". Mommy tries hard to not give in. Mommy gives in.
This weekend I will be working hard on the not giving in part. To be continued...

Ski Group is now Beach Group

After a heated debate between the members of our ski group, we have finally agreed on a date, location and house for our very fun vacation with some of our closet and dearest friends. One major change, we are no longer a ski group, we are now officially a beach group. The reason for this major change... the addition of children. I guess it is easier to dress the little ones in cute bathing suits and haul shovels and buckets, then dress them snow suits and skis and trek through the snow.

It is always a fun debate between this group. There is one outspoken person per a couple. I happen to be one of the most annoying and demanding of the outspoken. Oh well, they don't call me "Beaman" for no reason at all. Plus, it is the planner in me. I need a plan.

So after it is all said and done, we are heading to Tybee Island, Georgia for a week in June. It should be a blast. The only question left to debate is who gets the room with the double twin beds?

Bye, Bye Bug

The nasty stomach bug has finally left our house. I am glad to report that Ellison, Graham and Grandma are all feeling better! "Tis dolly"
(if you could only hear the conversation between 'E' and her dolly)

Look at that face...

Note to neighbor:
Please start wearing longer shorts
and please, please put on a shirt.
Ellison's room is right across the street :)
Her new "play phone"

Here you go Ma-Ma

A Little "E" Flower

Ellison was feeling better today, so we ventured to Target with Aunt Ashley. Let's just say Ashley and Ellison had a lot of fun in the dollar aisle.
