Roll Call
I find this rather amusing:
So sometimes while trying to keep Ellison entertained, I will break out in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song and do a little Mickey dance to it. She gets a kick out it and I buy a few moments to finish cooking. Well today, during lunch I needed to buy some time to finish loading the dishwasher, so I broke out in song.
Mommy, "Role Call"
Ellison, "Mickeee"
Mommy, "Mickey"
Ellison, "Goofy"
Mommy, "Goofy"
(insert remaining names)
Well after the typical names were said...
Ellison, "Ellison"
Mommy, "Ellison" (I obviously repeat, so you she knows that I understand her)
Ellison, "Bouncy Ball!"
Haha, silly girl. (Pluto has a bouncy ball)

Choo - Choo
Question: Is she placing candy on train or pulling off?
Maybe a little bit of both?
Completed train...
that was paintstakingly pryed from my sugar-filled child.
New Plan: I will tell Mommy that Baby is hungry.
Even better, I will place Baby in my high chair and feed her.

(and I even smiled for the camera and said "Cheese")
A little late - 18 month check up
We decided to turn the 18 month check up into the 19 month check up. Stats Update:
Height: 34 inches ~ 100th percentile
Weight: 28 lbs., 12 oz. ~ 90th percentile
At this appointment, the Doctor does a developmental analysis in the form of a long checklist aka parent homework. Since I took the time to fill it out and this is my blog, I guess I can brag. Ellison scored 100%!!!!

19 months - Oh, how time flies!
Ellison turned 19 months on Sunday. A few things about Ellison:
- Loves to play with her dolls. Including changing their diapers, rocking them to sleep, and giving them hugs and kisses.
- Loves her doll house and remembers where she left the various family members (typically can be found in the mommy's car, the refrigerator, or bath tub).
- Loves to take baths and play in the shower.
- Loves to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
- Always excited to know Nana and Papa are coming to visit.
- Enjoys playing with he neighborhood kids.
- Loves to cheer on the Gators. She loves Tim Tebow.
- Loves to Dance.
- Talks a lot! Repeats everything and puts words together into phrases.
- Knows several colors: pink, purple, yellow, blue and green (and most of the time can accurately name them)
- Can count to 2! (anything larger than 2, is also 2)
- Favorite Foods: Hummus, popsicle, chicken, oatmeal, oranges, broccoli, pizza (not sure when she has had pizza lately, but asks for it every night)
- Knows her name. Earlier in the month if you asked her who she was, she would respond, "Me". As the month progressed she changed her response to "Ellison".
- Potty Training Update: Still working on it... slowly. Ellison went #1 and #2 in the potty and then lost interest. I am not pushing it at the moment until she start to show interest again.
Overall, Ellison is a wonderful, vibrant little girl. We can no longer classify her as a baby, because she will tell us otherwise. We love you!
