Smile :)

This morning, Ellison and I decided to assist and help Daddy walk the dogs. When I told Ellison that shoes were needed to walk the dogs, she bee-lined it straight to my closest. Needless to say, my little girly girl would have nothing to do with her own shoes. She eventually decided my shoes were holding her back. So if you find some designer flats in the middle of the road, please pick them up and return them to me. Thanks!

Brunch with Nana, Oma and Aunt Linda

We enjoyed a mini-Holiday celebration at Lenny's in Clearwater this morning with some of our favorite women, Nana, Oma, and Aunt Linda. The drive from Orlando to Lenny's took less than 2 hours, Ellison was perfectly behaved, and we made it back in time to play with the neighbors. I would call that a wonderful Sunday. We love you Nana, Ruthie and Linda! Merry Christmas.

Sea Gulls and Cookies

Uncle Tim, Daddy, Mommy, Ellison & Baby
went to the Holiday Parade at Lake Eola

Uncle Tim pointed out the pretty swans.

Uncle Tim made yummy cookies.
Dad decided to throw a rather large chunk
of cookie into the Lake to lure ducks.
Instead, Daddy brought over 100 seagulls.
It was pretty cool, but Mommy was freaking out
about all of the bird poop.
Luckily, Mommy and I stayed clean.
Well, except for the melted chocolate.

UPS Delivery

Another fun story:
Typically, when the UPS guy pulls up to our house, everyone is alerted. Thanks to Ali. Yesterday was no exception. The only difference was that Ellison got excited in anticipation that her neighborhood friends were at the door. To avoid a toddler meltdown, I got all excited and told her we had a package at the door and asked her to help me open it. To her surprise the box was filled with a pair of shoes. Ellison automatically said, "Try shoes", and pointed to her feet. Since the shoes are someone's Christmas present, I responded, "Ellison, do you want to go try on Mommy's shoes." I recieved a squeal of delight and she ran into my closet. She proceeded to try on my shoes until she found an acceptable pair. She then looked at her dolly and said, "Baby shoes, Mommy". I suggested we try Ellison's shoes on the baby, and this made her happy. The end result: Baby found a pair of pretty sequined shoes, and Ellison walked around in Mommy's flats for the afternoon.
