World's Luckiest Little Girl

Well I am not sure if I am talking about me or Ellison when I say the "World's Luckiest Little Girl" because we are both incredibly blessed to have Grandma in our lives. Thank you mom for being an amazing mother and grandmother.  You are the best.  We love you!

Time to Enjoy

Exams are over and I can finally relax (well sort of) and enjoy the holidays. And get back to my obsession with blogging.  Here are a few photos taken between Starbucks study sessions:

Trickery or something like that

For the past few months, Ellison has become a diva on what she will and will not wear on a daily basis.  The dress, yes, she only wears dresses, must meet two criteria, 1. resemble a Princess dress (preferably a dress Little Mermaid would wear), and 2. twirl. So, you can imagine my concern when temperatures dropped this past week and wait, just wait... Ellison had to wear pants! Blasphemy, I know.

We eased into cold weather clothes by first adding tights under our Princess dresses, then purchasing some pink jeans (she said she would wear pants if they were pink), and finally by mid-week she put on a jogging suit. Shocking, I know! If I was talking about any other child, I would say we tricked her into wearing the suit by pointing out to her that it was very Minnie Mouse like.  However, we are talking about Ellison and I think she made a deal with us... she would wear the "Minnie Mouse" suit after the promise of organic cookies (I throw in organic because my mom promised them) for the car ride to school, and then once in the car a promise by her Daddy of a muffin from Dunkin Donuts.

Now what I find incredibly funny and very Ellison is that when I signed on to her school website, I found a photo of her on that day with Minnie Mouse ears.  Knowing my beautiful, spirited daughter, she had this planned all along. I can almost guarantee that she arrived to school and immediately added the sparkly accessory to complete her outfit.

Love

Love the Holidays!

First Official Clark Family Outing

The Clark Family enjoyed the Winter Park Holiday Parade as a family of 4! Ellison loved watching the community floats from her Daddy's shoulders.  Little Dylan slept through the entire parade.  Quite the success if you ask me :)

A little Shakespeare

I don't remember laughing at Shakespeare.

or making funny faces.

I don't even know if I cracked a smile.

But Ellison certainly enjoyed Richard.

What a silly girl!
(I hope she enjoys Shakespeare this much when she attends TPS.)

2 Weeks

Dylan's two week check up was today.  Despite his more than a pound drop in birth weight, he has been gaining weight like a champ over the last few days... 8 lbs, 3 oz.  He is also catching up to his sister (not current - as baby) in height... 21.5 inches.  Dr. Trout says he is a beautiful, healthy boy.  And of course, he proved all male by peeing on me during his weigh in... that's my boy!
