Lyle the Crocodile Date

Ellison and I went on a date to see "Lyle the Crocodile" at the Orlando Rep. I have to say, it may be our favorite Rep production thus far.  Ellison turned to me about 10 minutes into it and said, "This is so great!  Are you enjoying it too?" She loved Lyle, and I love my time with Ellison.

Slow Down Time

This week I have been playing a little game I call "lets catch up with life".  Fun game... not! Well I am happy to report that the school/work week is done, laundry pile is siginificantly smaller, the toys are put away, and the kids are asleep.  The past two weeks have been busy, but we have still been able to take time and enjoy the small things.

Dylan loves swim lessons. I am certain that Dylan will be a swimmer.

Olivia turned 6 months!

Ellison's artwork has transformed over the past few weeks. I was so proud of her picture of our house.

Dylan is all boy!

Enjoying a picnic in our front yard.

Daddy's helper.

Happy kid!

Water Time!

Spring has arrived!  This weekend, my parent's pool was officially enjoyed and the water tables and hose were brought out at our house.  With the kids immersed in swim lessons right now, I am hoping that our days will be filled enjoying all that Florida has to offer. When I say "our", I do realize that I will be sequestered away studying until the end of July... so I plan to live vicariously through everyone else (and completely ignore that my life is horrible and excruciating aka studying for the Bar).

This reminds me of when I was pregnant...
Ellison would enjoy the water table and I would enjoy plopping my feet into it.

BOYS!

It is going to be a FUN summer!

My Little is MARRIED!

The babies at the reception, Audrey (6 weeks), Olivia (6 months), and Dylan (16 months).

Jeannie called me last week and said, "Mike won't stop dancing".  To which I responded, "of course he won't stop dancing, we never thought you were actually going to get married!"  Now, let me clarify... it's not that I don't believe Jeannie loves Mike - I 100% know that she does. And well she would be an absolute idiot to not walk down the aisle with Mike, a true gem!  It is more that Jeannie aka Dr. Jeannie is so busy doing Doctor stuff, that we never thought she would choose a day, plan a wedding, and take the time off to get married.  She proved Mike and I wrong (luckily). Jeannie is a lucky lady to have found Mike.  Ellison and I were lucky to be a part of their special day.  I love you both!

Jedi Training

This may be hard to believe (not really if you know me), but I have never seen Star Wars.  I actually just clarified with Graham that Jedi's pertain to Star Wars and not Star Trek. (heads shaking... I know)  Well Ellison was involved in a little Jedi Training at Alex's 4th birthday party.  After recieving her Jedi certificate, she immediately called Uncle Drew to let him know of her accomplishment.  He was proud. I still have no idea what a Jedi is!?!

Ellison would only put "girl" Star Wars stickers on her "robe thing".

Dylan - almost 16 months

I would say Dylan is my neglected second child, but that honestly only applies to this blog.  Dylan is our very adored and loved second child.  Ellison, Graham, and I think he is something very special.

A few things about Dylan:
  • He's a lover. Gives the best hugs.
  • Everyday we hear a new word or phrase come out of his mouth.
  • Loves to help.  Today, he spilt water twice and both times grabbed a towel on his own and cleaned it up.
  • Loves to sort.
  • Has learned the art of throwing a fit.
  • Has learned how to tackle his sister when he wants something.
  • Grabs our hands and leads us to what he needs and wants.
We love you sweet boy!

Adorableness

I really have some catch up posts to do on my sweet boy, Dylan.  I promise the posts are coming.  In the meantime, I think this video is the perfect introduction to what my sweet little guy is up to.  He is a ball of energy.  He is a talker. He is a little lover.  Adorableness!

(what isn't adorable is my voice in the video... that is annoying)
