My cute pjs

This morning we woke up to a very chilly house. So I decided it was time for Ellison to put on her little pj hat. I am not sure why pajama companies attach hats to pjs. Do they expect babies to keep the hat on while sleeping? I think they may attach the hat only for the purpose of obsessive moms who take pictures of their babies all day... aka... me. I love this pj brand... Little Me.

How many pacifiers is Ellison holding?

Last night, Graham called Ellison's play area, a pacifier graveyard. I laughed. Well today, I realized that he may be right. I found Ellison rolling around her play area holding onto three pacifiers. She was just rolling and scooting holding onto them. Who needs toys, when you have pacifiers?

My First Teeth

Ellison's first teeth arrived over a week ago. However, the little one would not willing show them off. I just happened to have a very smiley photo session with her yesterday and finally have a picture of her teeth. When they first came in, she was constantly sticking out her tongue. Of course, in reality, she was using her tongue to feel her new teeth.

Sunday in the Mountains

Ellie lounging around on the back porch.
Just sitting around in the Fall leaves.
Oooh... this bucket of leaves looks like fun!
Ooops... someone rolled over in the leaves (followed by a bit of pouting).
The End!

All bundled up

My parents, Ellison and I headed down the mountain to the Valle Crucis Fair. It was a cold, damp day. Ellison hid under the blanket made by her Great Grandma Ruthie. And I was not dressed properly. I guess in all of my shopping for Ellison, I forgot to find some appropriate Fall wear for myself. Oh, the life of a mother. I hear it only gets worse. I know that I will end up in sweats and with gum in my hair any day now. I have already instituted the mother wardrobe of skirt with alternating sweater sets. I mean literally... everyday. Except for this weekend in NC, where I am wearing jeans with alternating sweater sets.

POP-corn

Who knew the word "Popcorn" would lead to so many giggles?
