HUGS

Just climbing trees!
Dancing . . . Grandma and I were singing
"Row, Row, Row your boat"

Winding up... to give me a
Ginormous, Super, Duper Hug

Here she comes!

Time to go home

Instead of spending my day studying on Wednesday, I stopped by my Mom's house and spent some time with my sweet girl. It was great to see what she has been up to while spending the day with Grandma. Ellison hopped in her wagon and off we went to climb a tree, dance in the streets, and give me the best hugs EVER! I wish it wasn't exam time and I could spend everyday with my sugarbean.

Alana turns 7!

Last Year
This year - bouncing!

E with her cousin, Riley.

Hard to believe that Alana turned 7 this weekend! She is a smart and beautiful little girl. It is also hard to believe the difference a year makes. This year, Ellison joined in the festivities and bounced in the Bounce House. She also went down the large slide all by herself.

Hip, Hip, Hooray

Ellison peed in her potty!!!! E is amazing... new potty has been out for 4 days!

Here is the scoop:
I was changing her diaper and asked if she wanted to go to potty. She said yes, asked me to take her pants and shoes off, sat down and peed! Now, I know this could be a fluke. However, I am still so proud.

Later on in the evening, I asked her if she wanted to go potty, she said yes, sat down, took a book with her and tooted on the potty. She tried to do more, but could not. So Ellison finished her book, took her baby doll off her potty, put her in the stroller, and then took off.

Big Girl Lesson #3

Big Girl Lesson #3 Potty Training
We have started our adventure in using a "big girl" potty. We set Ellison up with plenty of books, a new pee-pee doll, and a pink potty. Ready, Set, Here we go!

And on a side note, pee-pee and poo-poo are now common words in our house. Stay tuned...

Hey Mom, Look!

Hey Mom, look what my friends showed me!
I sit on the ball,

arch myself over the top, and roll over the ball!

Isn't that so cool, Momma?

The Plan... with picture proof

Yesterday, Ellison had her 18 month pictures taken by Kim Lobato (www.kimlobato.com). Kim took E's 6 month pictures last year, and did a fabulous job. So we had to have her take this year's pictures as well. Above are a few sneak peaks from the session. Notice in the first picture, her doll is next to her. I knew from her sneaky look that she had hatched a plan... I was right. Check out the second picture... the plan was hatched, put in effect, and accomplished! Sneaky girl!

To my Aunts and Uncles... Love E
