A few more fun Cruise pics

Selfie on the running track.
One of my personal favorite cruise memories was running through the ship and participating in a scavenger "selfie" hunt with Ellison and Dylan. We had a blast taking selfies.
Selfie with a bartender.

Of course, I always enjoy a little brotherly love...

and seeing Graham slightly beaten up.
The kids LOVED the Kids Camp. On one of the after hours evenings, the camp put on a pirate show.  It was adorable!

Someone was worn out on the last day. He got out of the shower, sat down on the couch, fell asleep and then fell to the floor. Not even the fall could stir him.

Fancy Nancy

Ellison and I have enjoyed Fancy Nancy books together for a long time.  We have loved her fancy adventures and big words. So we were thrilled to hear Orlando Rep had chosen Fancy Nancy for the upcoming Season.

Happy Birthday to ME

I am another year older! Yay to me. (sarcasm)  I had a lovely day enjoying soccer, volleyball, a mani/pedi, and followed by an adults only dinner.  Of course, the best part was the cake afterwards with everyone.
A few days later we continued the celebration at Disney.

Both kids went on Space Mountain for the first time.  Only one of them enjoyed it.  Can you guess which one?  The above picture is a hint.

Back to School

It's official, we have a second grader and one in pre-k!  It is hard to believe it will be our final year at All Saints School.  The first day for both Ellison and Dylan went well.  They love their teachers and are excited for the new year,

Victoria, BC

Our final stop on the cruise was to Victoria, BC, and the Butchart Gardens. Being an avid gardener, I found the gardens to be mesmerizing.  Ok, I actually did not get Grandma Robbie's green thumb and have no desire to garden.  However, the Gardens are beautiful and the story behind the family that built and maintain them is fascinating.

Good Morning, Tracy Arm Fjord

We woke up to icebergs floating by our ship.  Slightly unnerving and eerily beautiful, the glacier was immediately before us by 9 am.  It is sad to think that by the time our children are adults, the glacier may be gone.  Huge chunks fell off in front off us. We could hear the splash as they hit the water. Mother nature is amazing.

The color of the water was one of the things I may remember most. It was a milky blue. Beautiful.
