Imagination Explosion

Completely into makeup. Wakes up in the morning,
puts on makeup. Gets ready to leave house, asks
for lipstick.

Ellison's imagination has exploded over the past few weeks (in a complete girly fashion). She must wear a tutu or a princess dress (any dress that is "twirly") at all times. She then prances around talking to her dolls, on the phone with a princess, cooking food (even used colorful chalk as sprinkles), putting her babies to sleep, and trying to find pixie dust. Her magnetic dolls now talk to each other and play together. The My Little Ponies are a family. Her Minnie Mouses are a Mommy, big sister and a little sister. It is amazing to watch!

Yesterday, I asked if I could talk to Princess Snow White on the phone and her response, "Princess, Mommy wants to talk to you, she is driving. We are going to Science Center with Bennett and KeKe (apparently aka Eloise). I am big sister, not a boy baby, I like girl babies." The conversation went on until the Science Center and I never got the chance to talk to Snow White.

It's Definitely Summer

Having so much fun!

. . . and we definitely live in Florida. With 100 degree weather (my car read 107 degrees on Saturday afternoon), I am not sure why we decided to spend the weekend outside. I have three guesses. . . 1. we are glutton for punishment, 2. we enjoy heat exhaustion, or 3. we love to see big smiles on E's face. I will go with the last reason.

Saturday was filled an excursion to Sea World followed by fishing and the pool at Grandpa's house. On Sunday, Ellison and I brought out her water table, while Daddy cleaned out the garage and mowed the lawn. Don't worry, we were very nice and helped Daddy cool off. Of course, he may not have planned to get wet... but we are sure it felt good :)
