Easton Fun

 Dear Auntie Chan,

I think Easton wants to come play at my house more.  It has nothing to do with the cupcakes.
He just loves me so much.  And well, he is the cutest, sweetest little guy.  We all had so much fun with him!

Love, Auntie Jenn

6 Going On ?

Moved up levels in gymnastics!
Her coach said that Ellison had been really challenging herself this year to improve.
Ellison has really taken off over the last few months.  She is challenging herself in gymnastics, working hard at reading, and taking on more responsibility at home.  She is even motivated to get to school early - which has never, ever been the case.  To top it off, Ellison has lost her two front teeth.  This means that she not only is acting older, but looks older.  So proud of her!
Bye, bye two front teeth!

Helping her brother learn to count.

Johnny Appleseed Day - Ellison loves her teacher, Mrs. Dye.

Always the fashionista, its still hard to talk Ellison into wearing her Daisy uniform.  She wore it for the meeting, then changed before walking down to a party to support Dommerich.

She always surprises me with how patient and loving she can be with Dylan. They were experimenting outside, while I watched (and worked) from inside.

He gets it from his SISTER

Dylan is reminding me more and more of his sister when she was 3 going on 4 - crazy fun with their own sense of style!

Well except for the mud... Ellison would not have swam in the mud pond...

Ellison and Mora

Ellison has officially met her match with her friend, Mora.  The wonderful thing about these two friends is that they build eachother up, support eachother, and acknowledge their differences and see them strengths.  They are rather cute to watch together.

We had a mother and daughter date to The Borrowers followed by coffee and shopping.  I mean what more could any of us have asked for?

Olivia's Big Day

My talkative, silly, curious, and sweet niece, Olivia, turned 3!
We enjoyed a fun morning celebrating our girl!

Easton loves Auntie Jenn! And I LOVE Easton!

Ellison was a great helper at the party.  She spent most of her day chasing after Easton and showing him the playground.  I was very proud of her.

My nut. Lately Dylan has been into accessories.  I am beginning to notice how similar my kids really are.  Except for one item, Dylan was standing on the rock and then "flying" off of it.  Total boy move.

Two divas... cousins... adorable!

The Nuptials (kind of)

I spent all week documenting the wedding week, instagraming it, and generally annoying all those around me. Unfortunately, on the actual day of wedding I did very little documenting. Luckily we have a few photos from the beautiful wedding.

The Garland Holders.

They danced the night away.

Can you tell the boys were having fun?
I did not capture one photo of the glowing bride and the happy groom. I guess that is why they were smart enough to hire a photographer for the Big Day.

I did capture Graham, Ellison, and Dylan's speech to Nana Nancy and Howard. . .
There is a story behind Ellison's speech.  One of Ellison's favorite shows is Dog on the Blog.  In one episode, the 7 year old girl, Chloe, gives a wedding speech at her parents' wedding. Her speech consists of one word, "Boogers", and gets big laughs and everyone thinks its cute. Ellison thought it would be the perfect addition to her speech for Nana Nancy and Howard.  There is a good chance she will look back one day and shake her head at the "booger" part, beg me to not show it to anyone, and ask me to take it off the blog.  However, lets face it... not many 6 year olds would help their Dad write his speech, practice all week, and actually get up on stage.  I am very proud of my little girl... and her Dad.

And as Ellison and Graham said, congrats to Nancy and Howard.  They are going to be very happy together and we are very lucky to have Howard and his family in our lives.

Wedding Bells are Ringing

We had a full week of wedding fun leading up to Nana Nancy and Howard's nuptials.  The festivities included a fabulous and glutinous  "meet your new sister and brother" dinner and a rustic yet elegant rehearsal shindig.

Oh the trolley ride!

"Dylan you look so handsome."
"Oh mom, I know I am handsome!," says Dylan.

In preparation to walk down the aisle.
Oh yes, and there was one more festivity worth documenting...

I don't think the adults realized what they were getting into when they asked Ellison and Dylan to join them. It was rather enlightening.  Remember Dylan... hot tubs are not pools.
