Easter Love

(Disclaimer:  It is terrible how behind I am on the blog.  I blame life. Or I blame my desire to turn off the computer when I get home.  Buy whatever, not an excuse.)
Dylan was all about egg dying this year.  Silly boy.

Easter Day and they were very cooperative in regards to taking photos.  I don't recall, but I must have bribed them?!?

She is almost as tall as Grandma.

Silliest of boys.

Ready for the hunt... even Reid is ready,

Easton joined in on the fun.

Best way to finish a lovely Easter Day... first dip in the pool for 2016!

Spring Break - Roller Coaster, What?

We had this grand plan of finishing our beach trip with a stop at Busch Gardens on the way home.  It was a Tuesday, so we figured the park would not be overly packed.  We were wrong.  So very wrong.  It took over an hour to get into the park.  Nightmare.

Ellison and Graham immediately took off for the roller coasters.  Dylan and I grabbed the map and explored the animals.  I thought all was good at that point... perfect weather, amazing animals, and one very happy child by my side.

Then Graham and Ellison called.  The wait for the roller coaster was over two hours... fast passes sold out.  Disappointed?  Well, only for a moment.  I actually think one of them was quite relieved to escape the roller coasters (ahem... Ellison).

Preparing a Hyena's meal... that meat was disgusting!

Dylan sized ride.

A highlight.

Our last stop of our very full day.  Small roller coaster in kids area.  They both enjoyed it.
So in the end, I determined that there is absolutely no way to do everything at Busch Gardens in one day.  We spent a very full day and did not ride any of the big coasters.  We enjoyed a show, a couple of the smaller rides, and loved the animals.

It was a win overall.

Spring Break - Pass a Grille

The Clarks had a fabulous Spring Break in Pass A Grille, Florida.  Papa and Cheryl spoiled us by setting up one of their rental units and stocking it with goodies.  You can't beat an ocean front location, stocked fridge, and fun with family and friends.

The Simons joined us for a day of fun.  The weather was a bit windy and cold, but we made the best of it.

The kids and I woke up each morning and collected shells.  We found some fabulous shells... I mean thats what Pass A Grille has... shells, not waves.  *** running joke between Graham and I

"I love the Beach."  My dear, the feeling is mutual.
The nice thing about a vacation in Pass A Grille is that we can visit this amazing lady, Grandma Ruthie.  She was very surprised to see us.  We were very happy to have some time with her.

Sea World - Second Grade Trip

Some days I feel pretty lucky to have found a job as an attorney that gives me flexibility. Ok, well actually most days I feel like a lucky girl.  I can't always say I love playing chaperone.  However, I did enjoy chaperoning Ellison's field trip to Sea World.  I had the task of watching two children for the day, my child and Shawn.  Who can complain about that?  Plus I got to spend the day with a good friend and her two wards.

The best part of the day was this girl!  We had a blast exploring Sea World and learning about the animals.

Trip in a Fire Truck

Dylan is one lucky kid.  He was asked by his best buddy, Bobby, to join him for an exclusive morning tour of the Winter Park Fire Department follow by a ride in the fire truck to school.  Lucky boys!

D Graduates

Wow, five years just happened in a flash.  The above picture was taken on Dylan's first day at All Saints School.  I had spent months fretting over the decision, worrying if I was a horrible mother, concerned that he would not survive.  And guess what, not only did he survive, he thrived.  Dylan became the top guy at All Saints.  He ruled the school.

So its actually quite a flip of events that the weeks leading up to graduation, my little man Dylan, was the one fretting and worrying over leaving All Saints. After all, All Saints School has been a part of his life for 5 years.  He has grown up into this awesome kid while playing on the playground, walking the halls, and playing in the classroom.

At graduation, the teachers call up each child and use two descriptive words to describe them.  Dylan's words were "inventive" and "outgoing".

Dylan is not sure about leaving All Saints, but I am pretty sure he is ready to take on the World!

Dylan was in the baby room with Griffin.  They have been the closest of friends.  I can imagine that their friendship may endure... and that could be scary and wonderful!

Dylan with his best buds, Griffin and Davis.

Bobby and Dylan will be at Dommerich together.  They are sweet friends!

This picture is so Hudson and Dylan.  Off in the trees, capturing bugs, exploring nature... its there thing!

Dylan's girlfriend, Virginia.
The Clark Family is going to miss All Saints.  I was truly blessed to find such a special place for my children.
