Do you remember the 1960's sitcom "Green Acres"? The opening goes "keep Manhattan, just give me that country side. No New York is where I would rather stay..."
In Ellison's case, Maitland is where she would rather stay! Don't get me wrong, we had a wonderful day at Green Meadows Farm.
I think this sums it up...(after attempting to milk a cow) "Ewww, that is so squishy. Is that seriously how they get milk? Gross."
Listen, if you don't find milking a cow fascinating... being a farmer is not your thing!
